How does pet DNA preservation work?

1/ Order your kit
2/ Receive your animal DNA collection kit
3/ Collect your sample yourself:
-  Make sure your animal is clean and free of parasites.
-  Cut a small tuft of hair close to the root (about 1 cm²).
-  Place the hair sample inside the provided bag.
4/ Fill in the identification form with your pet’s name.
5/ Provide the information to engrave on the capsule:
-  Example: If your pet’s name is "Lucky", write "Lucky".
One letter or period per box.
-  Record the date of birth (if known).
-  Example: If your pet was born on "March 15, 2020", write "2020-03-15" in YYYY-MM-DD format.
6/ Place the sample bag and identification form in the prepaid return envelope.
7/ Send back your pet’s sample as soon as possible.
8/ Receive your DNAshell® capsule containing your pet’s DNA within 2 to 4 weeks.
